Christen Eagle 46 Almost Ready-to-Fly .46-.72/EP Biplane

| June 5, 2011 | Comments

The original Christen Eagle II was a homebuilt aerobatic sport biplane produced in the U.S. beginning in the 1970s. It executed unlimited-class maneuvers with ease and was a big hit with pilots and air show crowds. The Great Planes Christen Eagle ARF offers the same adrenaline-charged aerobatics as the original, along with scale details and easy assembly.

“Whether you’re talking about appearance or performance, there’s only one way to describe the Christen Eagle… and that’s sensational!”

Features:

  • Prebuilt sections and preapplied covering cut assembly time to a matter of hours
  • Bright MonoKote® colors recreate the trademark “Eagle” trim scheme
  • Performs well with a glow engine or brushless outrunner motor
  • Innovative interplane struts eliminate brackets and tiny screws, which simplifies and speeds assembly and teardown
  • Pre-hinged ailerons
  • Painted fiberglass cowl and wheel pants
  • One-piece wings
  • Hardware package includes painted pilot bust, spinner and wheels
