The rumors are true: the most respected name in R/C engines has just introduced four high-performance brushless motors for flight. First reports indicate that all feature angled ventilation holes, part of a new high-efficiency cooling system developed by O.S., as well as thicker cans designed to prevent distortion. The 38 mm models are equivalents for small-scale (.25-size) glow engines. The motors with 50 mm cans correspond to mid-size (.40-.50) 2-stroke engines. All feature distinctive O.S. blue cans, backplate mount, gold-plated connectors, a stainless steel prop shaft and lock nut.
